Questions from insurance teams

More in the FAQ, or ask us.

How does Vistra help prove photo evidence is genuine?

Photos captured in Vistra keep the time and location they were taken. Photos imported from a gallery are marked as imported, and the report quality check flags them so they can be reviewed.

Can an insurer confirm a report has not been altered?

Yes. Every PDF or Word export is sealed as a version and ends with a verification page. The reference can be checked online to confirm the content matches the sealed version.

Is there a damage assessment template?

Yes. It includes claim and assessment details, event description, cause of damage, severity, damage by area, overview and close-up photo galleries, make-safe works, a scope of repairs, recommendations, limitations and assessor sign-off.

Can I control who sees a claim report?

Share with specific people with view or edit access, or create a link with a password, expiry date and usage limit. Access can be revoked at any time and every access is logged.

Better documentation starts with better reporting.
