How Vistra’s AI features work, their limits, and your responsibilities.

Vistra provides artificial intelligence (“AI”) assisted features designed to help users create, organise, and improve field documentation workflows.
AI features are intended to support users by reducing repetitive documentation tasks and improving reporting efficiency.
AI is an assistance tool. It does not replace professional judgement, inspection expertise, verification, or human decision-making.

Vistra does not permit unauthorised access to customer information.
10. AI model providers and training
Vistra does not build or train its own general AI models. Our AI features are powered by popular, established AI model providers that maintain recognised security, privacy, and compliance programs.
Information submitted to AI features is sent to the provider only as needed to generate the requested output. How a provider stores, retains, or uses that information, including whether it may be used for model training, is governed by that provider’s own terms and data policies.
We review our providers’ terms when selecting them and may change providers over time.
Customer information remains subject to applicable ownership and privacy protections.
11. Ownership of AI outputs
Subject to applicable law and third-party technology limitations, users may use AI-assisted outputs generated through their Vistra account as part of their business workflows.
However:
- AI outputs may not always be unique
- Similar outputs may be generated for other users
- Users remain responsible for reviewing and modifying content
Vistra does not guarantee exclusive ownership rights over AI-generated text or suggestions.
12. Prohibited AI uses
Users must not use Vistra AI features to:

- Generate false inspection evidence
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as verified findings
- Produce unlawful content
- Circumvent professional requirements
- Automate harmful decisions about individuals
- Generate deceptive documentation
